Home Activities: - Read different types of stories (fairy tales, fractured fairy tales, fables, legends, poetry) - Explore story through the arts (dance and drama/theatre) - When reading, discuss elements of a story paying attention to messages and lessons - Make connections when reading (text-to-self, text-to-text, text-to-world) - Share family stories - Create stories together (story cubes are a great way to inspire creative stories)
